Kite Surf Lessons

The school is taught individually (1 student and 1 teacher), you learn on top equipment with experienced teachers in a shallow lagoon. The instructors have more than 15 years of teaching experience in this very attractive young sport.

The locations where the school is held are: Žnjan (Split) – theory and management of a trainer kite, Pantana (end of Trogir) kite and board management and the Neretva delta complete course under the guidance of the Kitesurf Split club.

The course consists of 10 hours of instruction and is divided into 3-5 days depending on the candidate’s success in mastering the technique and flying the kite, as well as the weather conditions.

DAY 1 – Theory, duration up to 2 hours:

Presentation of kitesurf equipment

Basics of Connecting Kitesurf Equipment

Equipment packing

The basics of wind

Basics of lifting and lowering a kite

Safety systems on the equipment

Basics of safety at sea

Basics of behavior at sea (right of way and right of way)

DAY 2 – Trainer kite management, duration up to 2 hours:

Lowering and raising the kite

Riding a kite from edge to edge of the wind

Power zone

Complete mastery of the trainer kite

DAY 3 – Water start, duration up to 2 hours:

Basics of bodydrag

Bodydrag upwind

Management of security systems and situations

Behavior in critical situations

Standing on the board for the first time

DAY 4 and 5 – Kite ride, up to 4 hours:

A combination of everything learned

Gliding downwind

We grant a discount for groups. Maximum of 2 students per instructor!

NOTE: Each student signs a contract in which he assumes his own responsibility in the event of an accident or injury.
